Fashion Show & Special Events

The annual African Fashion Week NC is the official and widely recognized African fashion show in North Carolina. The fashion show is a three-day show that starts from Thursday and ends on Saturday. Day one of the show involves a discussion panel featuring local designers, bloggers, influencers, and the public. During this event, a lot of topics addressing the growing African fashion industry are discussed. This is a highly interactive and professional event designed for enlightening the community about African fashion and also to prevail the global recognition of African fashion designers.Day two of the fashion show is a vendor show which gives the community the opportunity to shop and connect directly with designers and vendors.

The main runway fashion show is on the third day. The success of the runway fashion show is a collaborative achievement from designers, sponsors, volunteers, hairstylists, photographers, models, staff, hosts, location, and the audience. We open to suggestions that will make the African Fashion Week a fantastic experience for all. Feel free to contact us.

In addition to the annual fashion show, African Fashion Week NC (AFWNC) have been invited to some special events where we collaborate with event hosts to integrate a runway African fashion experience. In addition, some African organizations colleges within the state of NC and outside the state of NC have collaborated with AFWNC during their annual African Night shows. Our special event participation is ideal for organizations, corporations, academic institutions, festivals, and some community events. You  can contact us to request for more information
