The African economy is continuing to grow as technology and the standard of living continues to change. Even if the graph continues to raise the government should consider even other sectors such as the fashion industry since it also plays part in the economic growth. The government should take part and make the fashion industry grow to another level which will also add benefits to the growth of the African economy.
Most domestic business people from the fashion industry do not have the potential of growing their businesses to the point of exporting their finished products which can bring more revenue to the economy.
The other reason why the government should intervene in the African fashion industry is to fund the upcoming business companies which have the potential to grow to large scale company and create jobs for the young people.

The fashion industry has also had the opportunity of the media attention that has made them advertise and get the chance to be known by the public.
Government intervention will also give the fashion industry the chance to bring awareness of their existence to other countries. Exports of finished fabrics and clothes from the local fashion designers will be a great advantage to the economy and also give rise to growth and development.
There are so many fashion designers who have the talent and the potential to come up with the best but with the imports from other designers, the local business is going to collapse if the government does not take action about it. The government should take the opportunity of these fashion designers to grow the economy to a higher level.
The African fashion industry has improved at a high rate compared to last few years, this is because most people have started to recognize its importance and given a try this business. The government should come up with fashion and design courses that will enable young generation to realize their potential and passion in the fashion business.
There are countries with big brands in the fashion world, thanks to the help from their government. Africa has the best raw materials such as cotton but they do not have the facilities to process them to finished material which can help them grow the fashion industry.
